How is everything made?
Every printed piece is made to order — no minimums, no mass runs sitting in a warehouse. When you order, it's printed and shipped just for you, which means a little more wait and a lot less waste.
How long until my order ships?
Made-to-order pieces typically take 3–7 business days to produce, plus transit time. You'll get tracking as soon as it's on its way. Feather earrings and other handmade goods ship within 1–3 business days.
What's the printing process?
We use direct-to-garment (DTG) printing for fine detail and lasting color, on Comfort Colors garment-dyed tees and tanks — soft, pre-washed, and built to get better with age.
What if my item arrives damaged or misprinted?
Reach out to us directly and we'll make it right — replacement or refund, no hassle. Just include a photo of the issue so we can fix it fast.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Short answer, yes. Long answer is because each piece is made specifically for you, our printer can not direct accept returns or exchanges for sizing or preference. They will accept returns for damage or printing mistakes. But if something is wrong with your order please reach out directly to Field & Wing Co., and we will make it right.
What is the process and timeframe for returns or exchanges?
Please reach out to us within 2 weeks of receiving your order at hello@fieldwingco.com. We are real people running a small family business and will be available to communicate about whatever problem you have with the order. Once you ship the return back to us and we receive the return, then we will refund your purchase minus shipping cost.
How do I find my size?
Each product page has a size chart specific to that garment. Comfort Colors are unisex sizing which tends to run closer to men's sizes. Women please size down as a general rule. For instance, if I typically wear an XL in women's sizes I wear a L in Comfort Colors. But they do tend to run true to size with a relaxed, garment-dyed feel; so if you like things roomier, we'd size up.
How should I care for my piece?
Wash cold, inside out, and hang or lay flat to dry. Skip the dryer heat if you can — it'll keep the print and the fabric looking good for years, not just seasons.
Are your totes and other goods eco-friendly?
Where we can, yes. Our totes are certified organic cotton twill (GOTS and OCS certified, OEKO-TEX® approved, and vegan). We chose materials that hold up to the same standard our designs do.
Are the feather earrings really handmade?
Yes — hand-tied from rooster saddle hackle feathers, made as one of a kind and in small batches. These are distinct from our printed goods and sell both online and at festivals, so availability can shift.
Where are you based?
Field & Wing Co. is rooted in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon — Ashland and the land around it shape everything we make.
Do you ship internationally?
We do. But our platform is designed to work with specific international zones, so international shipping is limited.
